Review of “GETHSEMANE”
Editorial review by the US publisher

Title: Gethsemane [456 pages]
Author: Dr Peter Felter PhD (Cantab)

“This book is overflowing with intense, careful and focused investigation of scripture.
The author could not have been more thorough in sharing with readers the treasure of truths hidden in the nuances of language.
The experience of reading this book will be eye-opening at every turn and will bring readers ever closer to God.
The side-by-side comparisons of gospel accounts and different Bible versions are of great value.
They both demonstrate and fulfill the need to take scripture as a cohesive whole.
The Bible stories are not one dimensional, rather they are dynamic and we need to study them dynamically.

The author has gone to great lengths to provide his readers with a fully comprehensive volume that will make them understand their Savior Jesus Christ better than they ever could have imagined”. Xulon Press - 12th June 2012

The book is confessedly a heavy-duty Bible study (“strong meat”); it proves – examining only Scripture – that in Gethsemane the Lord Jesus Christ did not ‘agonize’ in fear and dread about the death on the cross.
Gethsemane was the scene of real and dramatic events involving the Lord and the Heavenly hosts and angels. A real battle took place.
The premise of the book is that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God to be understood plainly and literally and that “Every Scripture is God-breathed”, testifying about the Lord God and Saviour Jesus Christ.
The book not only destroys the hoary and evil myth that our Lord pleaded with tears in angst and dread to draw back from the death on the cross, but examines in detail what the Scriptures indicate really took place (both on earth and in the Heavens) – and these events truly magnify our Lord God and Saviour Jesus Christ.
The book is prayerfully commended in the hope that it may be found to be a true blessing to the reader.

We are pleased to inform the reader that Dr Bullinger’s “The Giver and His Gifts or The Holy Spirit and His Work” is now freely available as a PDF download - Dr Bullinger’s “The Giver and His Gifts or The Holy Spirit and His Work”

Since the 2nd Century man’s tradition has had it that ‘John’s Gospel’ was written by the apostle John
Although nowhere so stated in the Scriptures, which simply inform that the Fourth Gospel was written by “the disciple whom Jesus loved

Please see J. Phillips’ excellent Bible-study on this at: www.disciplewhomjesusloved.com

The Scriptural evidence is clear and compelling. Mr Phillips is analyzing and citing only Scripture in his study - and no other sources.
Hence we commend his work to all who believe that “Every Scripture is God-breathed”.
